I'm in the library and a man is talking loudly on the phone and disturbing me. What should I do?

Please find the nearest library staff person and ask him/her to speak to the patron talking on the phone.

If you are in Portland and not near a staff person, since Glickman Library has seven floors, you may call the desk and explain the situation. 207-780-4270

We allow short quiet conversations in the library. However, patrons need to be respectful of others and should either go to a stairwell or leave the library for a longer conversation.
