I need to find some articles for a course and need to use the library website. I don't think I have a barcode. How do I get one?

Your barcode is the number on the bottom of your USM ID card that begins with 250... or 218...

If you didn't receive a card, you should visit a Campus Card Office and get a free USM ID card (replacements are $20). You will need your USM ID card for many different transactions (printing, taking the shuttle bus, using the fitness centers, etc.)

If you have a card, but your barcode is not working, your card may need to be activated for Library use. Please visit one of the USM Libraries or call the library 207-780-4270 to activate your account.
