I can’t access the library databases from off-campus. What should I do?

Current students, faculty, and staff should sign into MyUSM portal first. Then go to the USM Library databases page in order to have access to USM resources.

If you do not have a USM ID card, you will need to get one at a Campus Card Services office or if you are an online only student, you can call Campus Card Services for an ID card.

Alumni and Courtesy patrons do not have off-campus access to the USM databases.

When requesting materials from other Libraries, you will need to use your Library Barcode. This is the number beginning with 250... or 218... on your USM ID card. If your Library Barcode number does not work, please call 207-780-4270 to see if your Library Barcode needs to be activated.
