How do I search online to see if you have a book I am looking for?

You can search for books in our catalog, URSUS.

Click on URSUS from the USM Library homepage or use the link below. You can search by keyword, title, or author. If you are not finding what you need or getting too many results, try URSUS Advanced Search. You can limit by campus location, material type (book, ebook, score, streaming video,...).

If you still can't find what you need, try expanding your search to MaineCat. It is free to REQUEST books from other libraries and have them delivered to a USM campus library. Feel free to contact us with questions.

You may want to view our videos on basic and advanced searching in URSUS, as well as in MaineCat.
