What is the USM Digital Commons?
Last Updated: Feb 29, 2024     Views: 11

Like many colleges and universities, USM Libraries has created a Digital Commons website that serves as our Institutional Repository (IR). IRs bring together much of a University's research under one umbrella, with an aim to preserve and provide access to that research.

IRs are an excellent vehicle for sharing your work. At USM, our Digital Commons includes work by faculty, students, and staff and includes published articles, conference papers, written and audio archives, photographs, maps, special collections, school newspapers, music and theatre programs, historical information, and much more.

Since its inception a few years ago, over 1 million USM papers have been downloaded by researchers from all over the world.

Check out the USM Digital Commons via the link and be sure to contact them if you are interested in adding to our institutional repository.
